New Milford Hospital has renamed its cancer center the Diebold Family Cancer Center to  recognize the steady and continued financial support of its namesake.
The Diebold Family of Roxbury, Conn. has donated $4 million to New Milford Hospital to fund cancer treatment equipment, including an upgraded linear accelerator with a robotic couch for targeted therapy, and the open-bore MRI for sharper imaging and greater patient comfort.  Â
The Diebolds’ have provided financial support for New Milford Hospital through personal funds and funds from their family’s Diebold Foundation.
