New Jersey investors recently paid $20.6 million for two New Haven apartment buildings with a total of 125 units.
In deeds recorded April 27, two limited liability companies affiliated with Lakewood, New Jersey-based real estate investment, management and construction company CSRE Group acquired century-old, six-story apartment buildings at 120 Dwight St. and 84 Howe St.
The properties are in proximity to downtown New Haven and Yale University.
The properties were sold by two limited liability companies affiliated with New Haven-based real estate investment company and landlord C.A. White Inc. The selling LLCs list their principals as Michael Schaffer, of Woodbridge; Anthony Schaffer, of Woodbridge; and Susan Ryan, of Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts — all officers of C.A. White.

The 49-unit, 50,911-square-foot apartment building on 0.35 acres at 120 Dwight St. fetched $9.15 million.
The 78-unit, 53,336-square-foot building on 0.37 acres at 84 Howe St. sold for $11.45 million.
The buyers obtained a $19.29 million mortgage loan from Pasadena, California-based Newbridge Lending LLC. Yechezkel Landau and Shlomo Tress signed off on the mortgage on behalf of the buying LLCs, which both share an address with CSRE Group.
Attempts to reach Landau and Tress were not immediately successful Friday.
The seller was represented by Jonathan Bryant, John Flaherty and Steve Simonelli of JLL.
