A national indoor entertainment park franchise chain said it is bringing a new location to Hartford in 2024, the third in the state.
Sky Zone, an indoor active entertainment park company with a network of 250 locations across the U.S. and Canada, said the company’s newest park will debut in Hartford next year following a new franchise agreement. The business is still looking for real estate in Hartford, Sky Zone representatives said. After a site is found and built out, Hartford Sky Zone plans to open its doors before the end of 2024.
It will be the third Sky Zone in Connecticut, joining existing locations in Norwalk and Trumbull, according to the company.
The new business touts itself as a one-stop-shop for indoor active play options for children, including zip lines, trampolines and skills courses. The parks can host a variety of events such as birthday parties, school trips and team outings.
Sky Zone officials said the new park in Hartford will employ at least 60 people.
