Restaurant Week in New Haven returns on April 16 through April 21. This year marks the 15th anniversary of the bi-annual event.
Locals and visitors will have the opportunity to sample an array of local cuisine, including food from restaurants like Tre Scalini, Olives and Oil, Camacho Garage and Barcelona Wine Bar.
A total of 24 restaurants will be participating in the event. They will be offering two course lunches for $25 and three course dinners from $45-$55 per person.
Director of Market New Haven Inc. Bruno Baggetta said, “Our goal this year is to spotlight the culinary excellence that is on plates across tables in every neighborhood of New Haven. Every cross street in New Haven offers something totally unique, and each neighborhood is home to five-star eateries. We’re thrilled to prove that, for the 15th year, New Haven has a scene for every foodie.”
Local tourism officials hope restaurant visitors during the event will also visit New Haven area attractions such as museums, galleries and shops.
The Shops at Yale will be offering free two-hour parking at 255 Crown Street and 56 Broadway with any same-day receipt of $50 or more from a participating restaurant. Park New Haven will also be offering a $5 parking rate during lunch time at the Crown Street and Temple Street garages.
