New Haven liquor store sold for $800K

A Fair Haven liquor store and adjacent parking area in New Haven have sold for $800,000. 

Built in 1940, 282 Ferry St. is a 2,000-square-foot property, home to GI Liquors. The store has been run by the same family for 77 years. 

It was sold by Michael Como to Raj Shyamaji LLC and principals Kapildev Patel and Pritesh Patel. 

The sale price includes the business, with a building and land sale price of $341,000, according to city land records. The property features an additional adjacent lot with parking for 10 vehicles.

The property has an appraised value of $231,000.
