A two-parcel, multi-building industrial property in New Haven has been sold for more than $2 million.
One parcel at 196 Chapel St. contains three buildings, part of the former Lynn Ladder and Scaffolding company. The oldest building dates back to 1870.
Collectively, the three parcels offer 39,000 square feet of space. It was sold by New Haven-based LLoyd-Chapel LLC and principal Enrique Rosado to Vargas Business Hub LLC and principal Maria Vargas of New Haven for $1.65 million.
Vargas also bought a 13,260-square-foot building at 184-186 Chapel St., from Lloyd-Chapel for $700,000.
Lloyd-Chapel bought both properties in 2009 for just over $500,000. Â Â
