New Haven BIZ wins five statewide journalism awards

New Haven BIZ has won five awards for editorial excellence from the Connecticut chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists (CT/SPJ). The group announced the statewide award-winners Thursday as part of a virtual awards ceremony.

The annual awards competition celebrates the best work by Connecticut journalists in print, broadcast and online published in 2019.

Since 1966, CT/SPJ has been aimed at improving, protecting and promoting professional journalism across the state.
