Michele Bush has been appointed senior vice president and general counsel for Hartford Healthcare and Hartford Hospital.
Bush comes to Hartford from the Chicago office of Miller Canfield, an international law firm. There, she held the role of principal, focusing on general corporate and health care issues, including transactional, regulatory and governance matters.Â

Prior to joining Miller Canfield, Bush was general counsel for the Board of Education in Rockford, Ill. and for the General Board of Pension and Health Benefits in Evanston. She was previously associate general counsel with Advocate Health Care based in Oak Brook, Ill., a fully-integrated health system with more than 200 sites of care.
