Upscale Westbrook fitness studio Privé-Swiss Fitness is invading shoreline neighbor Madison.
Monday saw the “soft” opening of Privé-Swiss Fitness’ new location at 757 Boston Post Rd. in Madison Center. The almost 3,000-square-foot facility offers group fitness classes, indoor cycling, private Pilates and personal training.
“With our Westbrook studio continuing as our flagship location, we wanted to expand our footprint along the Connecticut shoreline, where there is a true demand for an array of health and wellness services,” said Heidi Kunzli, founder and owner of Privé-Swiss. “We’re excited to bring our luxury brand to the heart of this charming New England waterfront town, including our signature fitness offerings led by highly-experienced and educated professionals.
The two-story facility offers:
• A dedicated indoor cycling studio on the first floor with state-of-the-art Keiser M3 Plus bikes, outfitting cyclers with personal monitors to track the length of the ride, revolutions per minute, calories burned and more.
• A 1,500-square-foot, second-floor group fitness studio overlooking Main Street Madison. Class offerings include the studio’s signature Barefoot Bands classes combining Pilates, yoga, barefoot cardio and resistance training with the use of colored resistance bands suspended from the ceiling. Other classes include mat Pilates, yoga, dance, piloxing, HIIT/Burn, Cardio Rebounder and total body workouts.
• A large, private area for personal-training clients and private and semi-private Pilates instruction on two Reformers.
The facility will also offer such luxury amenities as fruit-infused water and, as an after-class reward, chilled aromatherapy scented towels.
