New coworking space opens in Farmington; includes podcast studio

A new coworking space offering meeting room, mailbox and podcast studio services has opened in the historic Corner House building in Farmington, the company announced.

Basecamp Coworking, located at 4 Main St., is open for bookings and will host a grand opening event with tours on Friday, Feb. 2.

The newly renovated space in the lower level of the Corner House building has rental options across four categories: day pass options for those looking for a one-time space or use of the conference room; “hot seat” membership for access to the general coworking space; dedicated desks that include a desk and storage; and private offices.

Basecamp’s meeting room can host up to eight people, and the company also offers business mailbox plans for members or nonmembers. A podcast studio is also coming soon, according to the company.
