A Massachusetts-based auto group is seeking to expand its “Flash” car wash brand with a new location on a busy commercial artery in East Hartford.
Flash has filed a site plan application to build a 5,300-square-foot, single-tunnel, automatic car wash with exterior vacuum stations at 259 and 275 Connecticut Blvd.
A limited liability company sharing a West Springfield address and leadership with Balise Auto Sales, parent company to Flash, bought the two currently vacant properties totaling 4.72 acres for $900,000 in 2024.
Flash currently operates 16 locations across Connecticut, with additional sites in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
