The Community Foundation of Greater New Britain has promoted Joeline Wruck to director of community initiatives.
Wruck joined the foundation in 1997 and most recently was part-time director overseeing its grant program. In her new full-time position, she will research and identify new issues and roles for the foundation within its service area of Berlin, New Britain, Plainville and Southington.
She will remain involved in the foundation’s early childhood development program.
Meanwhile, the foundation upgraded Kaylah Smith, program and scholarship associate, to a full-time role. She is now responsible for all community response grantmaking and will continue to assist with a scholarship program and a fund for local philanthropists.
