A brand new 7-Eleven gas station and convenience store in West Haven has been sold for more than $13 million.
Built in 2022, the facility at 458-480 Saw Mill Rd. was sold by Farmington-based 480 Saw Mill WH LLC, SSCS Partners LLC and principal Geoffrey W. Sager to Dallas, Texas-based 480 Saw Mill RD LLC and principals John Tsai and Steve Hoekstra for $13.7 million in a deal recorded Dec. 29, according to city land records.
Construction on the property started in mid-2021 after it had been sitting vacant for more than 15 years. The 3-acre property was the site of a former Staples store.Â
The new 7-Eleven features a gas station with 24 pumps, and a convenience store with a Laredo Taco and Roost Chicken stand.
The new store sits near the I-95 off-ramp along a busy city corridor just off the Boston Post Road, with visibility to more than 125,000 vehicles per day.Â
