As the NCAA basketball tournament moves toward its Sweet 16 stage this week, the folks at ING’s 529 education plan have taken a different look at the bracket.
They’ve calculated the four-year cost of education — using tuition at the out-of-state rate where applicable — at each of the 68 schools whose basketball teams made the NCAA tournament.
The results provide a different perspective on student athletes.
