The Hartford Financial Services Group and NBC Connecticut said they have launched a promotional contest that will award $2,500 and mentoring to the winning small business.
Those interested can nominate a Connecticut small business on NBC Connecticut’s Facebook page by Oct. 13. Internet voting on qualifying entries will determine the winner in November.
To qualify, businesses must be located in Connecticut, hire locally, provide a community benefit and have fewer than 100 workers.
The nominator of the winning business will receive $500.
