The U.S Navy awarded General Dynamics’ Electric Boat yard in Groton a $42 million contract for routine maintenance and modernization on a Los Angeles-class attack submarine, the company said.
Electric Boat will plan and perform the maintenance on the USS Springfield.
Completion of the work is set for February. (AP)
