William C. Calderara, newly hired as president and CEO of Naugatuck Valley Savings & Loan, has taken a seat on the thrift parent’s board of directors.
Carlos S. Batista, chairman of the bank and parent, Naugatuck Valley Financial Corp., welcomed Calderara to the board.
Calderara joined the thrift in Sept. 28 from nearby Newton Savings Bank, where he was chief loan officer.
