The Seattle-based company has opened a Stamford office at 700 Canal St.
A national wealth management firm has opened its first Connecticut office in Stamford.
Seattle-based Brighton Jones said the new office is located at 700 Canal St. and will be led by Robert Bennett Jr., a certified financial planner who previously worked at Round Rock Advisors, where he developed financial plans for high-net-worth individuals and families.
Earlier in his career, Bennett worked as an insurance sales agent at New York Life Insurance Co.
According to the firm's website, the Stamford location is Brighton Jones' first office in Connecticut. The company also announced the opening of an office serving the Detroit market.
Brighton Jones said it advises more than 5,500 clients and had more than $30 billion in assets under advisement as of April 1.
