Wing It On!, a chain restaurant known for its chicken wings, recently announced it had been acquired by South Elgin, Illinois-based Craveworthy Brands.
Craveworthy Brands, a hospitality company that offers brands delivering food and guest experiences, is headed by former Jimmy Johns CEO Gregg Majewski.Â
The acquisition is expected to usher in a rebranding of the company and to lead to franchise growth, according to a news release.

Wing It On! was founded in 2011 by Wasterbury native Matt Ensero.
The chicken restaurant is known for its successful franchising initiative and was on the Inc. 5000 list of America’s Fastest Growing Companies in 2022.
Ensero continues to serve as brand president of Wing It On! at Craveworthy Brands.
Wing It On! has three locations in Connecticut, in Waterbury, Stratford and New Britain, along with franchises in Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Texas and Florida. A new location will open in Mt. Dora, Florida soon.
