NASCAR Visits Children’s Medical Center

Carol Bayreuther, president and CEO of Hartford Healthcare Federal Credit Union, took a ride in the AFLAC NASCAR race car as part of the Employee Recognition Day at the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford Sept. 16. The credit union’s select employee group enjoyed an outdoor lunch compliments of the Medical Center. The credit union sponsored an appearance of the AFLAC NASCAR racing car. “As a sponsor of the Healthcare Heroes event through Hartford Business Journal, we wanted to remind everyone of the opportunity to nominate their fellow co-workers for all of the great services they provide to their young patients,” Bayreuther said “Just as they care for the kids, we care for them.” The Credit Union has been serving the financial needs of healthcare employees in the Hartford, Middlesex and New Haven counties for over 50 years.
