West Haven drug developer NanoViricides Inc. is about to begin human trials in Australia for its anti-flu treatment, authorities say.
NanoViricides says it hired consultant Australian Biologics Pty. Ltd. to coordinate the regulatory review and approval of FluCide.
Australian Biologics is managed by drug regulatory affairs veteran Jim Ackland, M.D.
Meantime, construction continues on NanoViricides new Shelton facility where it plans to make batches of FluCide for the Australian trials, CEO Eugene Seymour said.
