The North American Family Institute — known as NAFI – CT — is part of a human services organization founded in 1974 serving at-risk children, youths, adults and families through more than 90 programs.
Clients are served through a combination of residential, foster care and day services throughout its service area, chiefly, New England (Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts), the mid-Atlantic (Maryland and Virginia) and southern (Florida) regions.
NAFI seeks to “create community environments based upon principles of dignity and respect that help children, adults and families to grow and change to better their lives and the world around them.”
