New Britain’s state-of-the-art police station opened at downtown’s Main and Chestnut Streets earlier this month, offering state-of-the-art features and amenities.
Built by Downes Construction Co. in New Britain, the 91,300-square-foot facility includes a modern forensics lab, physical combat training room and a dual-function pistol range.
It also houses a dispatch and emergency operations center, a library and a lecture room for 100.
New Britain architect Kaestle Boos Associates designed the project.
