Small business owners from Greater New Britain interested in energy efficiency are invited to attend a free workshop on Oct. 15 put on by nonprofit Operation Fuel and utility Connecticut Light & Power.
The 6-7 p.m. workshop at the General Haller Post at 112 Grove St. will provide an overview of Project Best, which offers financial incentives for small businesses to become more energy efficient.
CL&P will discuss information on energy conservation and its utility-run incentive programs.
Businesses will be eligible for a $250 credit on their CL&P bill upon completion of the workshop and an energy audit of their operations.
