My Sisters’ Place, dedicated to making a difference in the lives of the homeless in Greater Hartford, recently held its 30th anniversary gala at the Marriott Hartford Downtown. The celebration — featuring dinner, dancing and auctions — raised nearly $200,000. My Sisters’ Place plans to open the Sue Ann Shay Place Apartments this year which will provide 34 families with housing and support services.
