Three neighboring residential properties on Orange Street in New Haven have been sold for $2.17 million.
The three multifamily properties (at 451, 455 and 459 Orange St.) are set on a half-acre site, and combined offer 22 bedrooms and almost 11,000 square feet. They were acquired by Sohu LLC, a holding company owned by Albert Annunziata, a local attorney and landlord who owns several other properties in the East Rock neighborhood.
The buildings are in a prime rental area for Yale University students.
The seller was 451 Orange Street Associates LLC. The properties were first listed in April of this year at an asking price of $3.15 million.
“It’s unique to find three contiguous properties in a downtown area, and these all have excellent off-street parking, which is rare in that neighborhood,” said the selling agent Stephen Press of Press/Cuozzo Realtors. “It’s on the Yale shuttle, it’s right at an exit of I91 so it’s kind of a prime location.”
Press said the properties are close to fully leased and were sold with the tenancies in place.
