Multifamily apartment complexes change hands 

The Shelton-based Northeast Private Client Group recently brokered the sale of two multifamily properties in the Greater New Haven area, including complexes in Hamden and Waterbury.

Brad Balletto, senior vice president, investments for the firm, said, “We continue to see strong demand for multifamily properties all over Connecticut.”

Manila Avenue Apartments, at 5 Manila Ave., Hamden, a 16-unit multifamily building on 0.3 acres, sold for $1,975,000. Natale Management sold the site to N.G.I. Asset Management.

Also, 815 East Main, a 10-unit multifamily property at 815 East Main St., Waterbury, sold for $550,000. Built in 1932, the building, which is close to the Brass Mill Center mall, has an average unit size of 626 square feet. Graham Holdings LLC sold the property to Alex Babayev.

Balletto and three other members of the firm’s Metro North Investment Sales Team, including  Rich Edwards, Jeff Wright and Bob Paterno handled the deals.
