Ten months after announcing its new location, Wonder, a meal delivery and dining platform that allows customers to order from multiple restaurants in a single transaction, will open at West Hartford’s Blue Back Square next week, the company said.
The restaurant at 91 Memorial Road will offer delivery, pickup and dine-in service to the Hartford area. It is scheduled to hold a grand opening on Aug. 13.
Wonder allows customers to order from more than 20 restaurants and chefs simultaneously, including celebrity chefs Bobby Flay, Marcus Samuelson and Michael Symon, as well as from established brands such as Tejas Barbecue and Magnolia Bakery. All meals are prepared to order.
The West Hartford location will be Wonder’s ninth in Connecticut, joining others in Danbury, Darien, Fairfield, Milford, New Haven, Newington, Stamford and Westport.
Based in New York, Wonder operates more than 100 locations across nine states. In addition to those in New York and Connecticut, it has locations in Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Virginia, as well as in Washington D.C.
