BL Companies in Meriden hired Carl F. Bard as senior project executive. Bard most recently worked as deputy commissioner of operations at the Connecticut Department of Transportation.

Manchester Community College hired Milaim Tahiri as instructor of developmental mathematics. Tahiri previously was an adjunct faculty member in mathematics at Central Connecticut State University. Patricia Lindo was hired as executive assistant to the president. Lindo was formerly administrative assistant to the dean of administration at Capital Community College. Evelyn Kissi was appointed information technology technician II. Kissi was previously a senior user systems analyst at St. Paul Travelers.

Terry Gellin was named director of institutional advancement at the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art in Hartford. Gellin most recently served as director of development at the museum.

Carol Duffy was named services director of supportive housing at the Chrysalis Center Inc. in Hartford. Duffy previously worked as project director for the Coalition to End Homelessness.

Westfarms Shopping Center in Farmington named Christa Allen marketing and sponsorship director. Allen was previously marketing director of Connecticut Post and Trumbull with The Westfield Group.

William Raveis Real Estate, Mortgage and Insurance in Avon hired Barbara Thayer as sales associate. Thayer previously was sales associate at Prudential Real Estate.

Northland AEG in Hartford appointed Steve Rosebrook assistant general manager and regional director of operations for AEG facilities, Lisa Bagley as director of finance and Diana Winter as director of human resources. Rosebrook was previously assistant general manager/senior director of arena operations at the Toyota Center. Bagley most recently was vice president of ticketing services at Charlotte Bobcats arena in North Carolina. Winter was formerly manager of human resources and marketing representative at The Spirit of Hartford.

Hebrew Health Care in West Hartford hired Madelene Francese as chief development officer. Francese was formerly annual fund manager at The Bushnell Center for Performing Arts.

Pauline Lizotte was named an instructor of biological sciences at Manchester Community College in Manchester. Lizotte most recently was professor of biology at Valencia Community College. Sharale Walker Golding was promoted to instructor of biological sciences. Golding was formerly an adjunct biology faculty member.

Dane R. Kostin was elected president of the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford in West Hartford. Kostin is a principal at Levy & Droney P.C.
