Movers & Shakers — March 26, 2007

Tracey E. Scraba was named to the University of Connecticut health care management advisory board. Currently, Scraba is a health care attorney at Robinson & Cole in Hartford.

The following local people were appointed to these positions on the 2007 board of directors for the Connecticut Junior Chamber Jaycees: Christer Osterling, Newington, presdient, membership vice president, and Webmaster; Michele Tarantino, Wallingford, chairman; Cathy Dempsey, Cheshire, awards program manager; Christine Fitzmaurice, Cheshire, vice president, management development; Sylvia Lima, Berlin, parade program manager; Kim Nordquist, Portland, secretary; Valentino Caruso, Meriden, e-mail newsletter editor; and Allison Forsythe, Wallingford, regions director.

Debra Oakes was appointed supervisor of visiting nurses and home care for McLean in Simsbury. Previously, Oakes served on the board of directors for the Connecticut Council for Hospice & Palliative Care.

Ricardo A. Anzaldua joined The Hartford Financial Services Group as senior vice president, associate general counsel, and director of corporate law. Previously, Anzaldua was a partner with Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton in New York.

The following Halloran & Sage attorneys were named to the following positions at the New Britain Bar Association: Christine Plourd, president and Brian Gedicks, treasurer.

Halloran and Sage in Hartford named the following partners: Joseph J. Andriola, N. Kane Bennett, Alan P. Curto, Alfred A. DiVincentis and Kelley Galica Peck. Laura Pascale Zaino was named counsel.

Katherine A. Scanlon and Peter J. Vodola were named members in the Hartford firm of Pullman & Comley. Scanlon and Vodola will practice commercial litigation with a focus in annuity related disputes.
