Michael McGuire has joined KeyBank Commercial Banking as middle market relationship manager, responsible for managing new and existing relationships with middle market commercial clients in the Hartford/Springfield area; Melissa Bierowka was hired to the Business Banking team as senior business banking relationship manager serving business clients throughout greater New Haven and Maryssa Tedder also joined the Business Banking team as a business banking relationship manager serving business clients throughout greater New Haven and Waterbury areas.Â

The Connecticut Council for Philanthropy, a Hartford-based nonprofit, announced new leadership.
Elaine Mintz, vice president of operations, Fairfield County’s Community Foundation, was elected chair of the council; Tiffany Donelson, vice president of programs at Connecticut Health Foundation, will serve as vice chair; Lauren Patterson, president and CEO of New Canaan Community Foundation, is now secretary; and Paul Suter, vice president of operations at Children’s Fund of Connecticut, will serve as treasurer.

Peter Strniste, Jr. and Todd Regan have joined the Connecticut office of law firm Gordon & Rees as partners in the firm’s construction practice group.
Strniste represents owners, developers, construction managers, general contractors and trade contractors. Regan regularly advises construction managers, trade contractors, owners, and design professionals in disputes.
