Robert J. Murphy returned to the law firm of Sullivan, Schoen, Campane & Connon as an attorney after taking three years off to complete his MBA in strategic management. Murphy had been with the firm for 23 years before leaving in 2004.

Christopher Fleming was appointed vice president of Cheetah project management business development for Cheetah Learning. Previously, Fleming was a client manager at United Healthcare.

The Connecticut Convention Center appointed Lynn Olson director of human resources. Previously, Olson was human resources manager at the Marriott Hartford Downtown.

Thomas R. Sullivan was appointed commissioner of the state of Connecticut Insurance Department. Previously, Sullivan was senior vice president of Specialty Risk Services, a subsidiary of The Hartford Financial Services Group.
