Lisa Brown joined The University of Connecticut Foundation Inc. in Storrs as assistant director of development for the school of pharmacy. Brown most recently was a publicist and graphic designer at Three Rivers Community College.

Hartford Hospital in Hartford named Dr. Donna M. Polk director of preventative cardiology. Polk was formerly assistant medical director of the Preventative and Rehabilitative Cardiac Center at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Reno Properties Group in Newington appointed Kathy Deyo commercial real estate broker for leasing and investment sales. Deyo was formerly principal owner of Ryan Property Group.

Anna Bratslavskaya joined Cashman & Katz Integrated Communications in Glastonbury as copywriter in their creative department. Bratslavskaya was most recently copywriter at PJA Advertising.

Blum Shapiro in West Hartford promoted the following employees: Michael R. Lenkowski to accounting and audit manager from supervisor of the accounting and audit department; Matthew R. Piechota to accounting and audit manager from supervisor of the accounting and audit department; and Dianne L. Rizzo to senior estate and tax manager from supervisor of the estate and trust planning group.

Prudential Connecticut Realty in Rocky Hill named Erin McNiff corporate communications manager. McNiff was most recently a freelance marketing consultant before this position.

Hartford Stage in Hartford elected the following to its governing board of directors: Kimberley Byrd, founding partner, Tennant Risk Services; Marla J. Byrnes, honorary director of the board, Hartford Stage; Bruce Cliff, senior vice president of bond and financial products, Travelers; Richard Costello, vice president of investor relations, The Hartford Financial Services Group Inc.; David Jimenez, partner, Jackson Lewis; and John B. Lynch Jr., partner, Robinson & Cole.

Keiler & Co. in Farmington hired Natalie Fusco as junior account manager and Jennifer Baroncini as assistant account manager. Fusco was previously advertising coordinator for Better Bedding East Hartford and Baroncini was formerly a sales assistant at Premier Financial Services.

Cronin & Co. in Glastonbury hired the following employees: Lora Olivieri Carr, account supervisor; Phil Decoteau, project coordinator; Mike Duncan, lead Web developer; Bethany Carlson Haddad, account coordinator; and Brendan Sullivan, assistant art director. Betsy Castle Gainey was promoted from account supervisor to associate director of client services. Carr was previously an account supervisor at Keiler & Co. Decoteau was formerly an intern in the account services department of Cronin & Co. Duncan was senior engineer at TicketNetwork. Haddad was formerly showroom and sales coordinator at California Closets Inc., and Sullivan was a freelance art designer at Adams & Knight Advertising.
