Paul Wright has been hired as chief marketing officer of Mohegan Sun where he will lead all marketing, advertising and entertainment activities. Wright most recently served as chief marketing officer for Bacardi USA. He has also held positions as vice president of marketing at Coca-Cola, SBM/director of marketing at Warner-Lambert and at General Mills, starting as an intern and working his way up to senior brand manager.

The law firm of Hassett & Donnelly, PC, an insurance defense trial practice firm, has added two attorneys to its new Hartford office. Peter G. Barrett will focus on the defense of general liability claims, including motor vehicle claims and construction site injury claims. Previously, Barrett served as a senior trial attorney at NGM Insurance Company’s staff counsel’s office in Auburn, Mass. He also was a partner, specializing in insurance defense, at Murphy, Barrett and Manitsas LLP of Longmeadow, a senior trial attorney for Sentry Insurance of Westford, Mass., and a litigation associate at Pellegrino, O’Connell and Winniman, PC in Springfield, Mass. Danielle M. Maloney will focus on the defense of general liability claims, including premises liability claims and construction site injury claims. She previously served as a senior litigation associate at Tucker, Heifetz & Saltzman LLP in Boston and as a litigation associate at Smith & Duggan LLP of Boston. Leah Mayor has joined the Connecticut field office of American Farmland Trust, where she will serve as the working lands alliance project director and New England project manager. She is the founder and principal of Taking Root, an ecotourism initiative devoted to stimulating local economies, building community viability, and celebrating our connections to food and culinary history. She also blogs about food and agricultural systems for a number of online platforms, including the Huffington Post. Mayorˆ’s work at AFT will focus on policies needed to sustain local farms and protect diminishing farmland throughout New England, with an emphasis on Connecticut.

Peter Tomsheck has been promoted to service manager at Jamestown Technologies. He is a 15-year veteran of Jamestown Technologies’ field service staff and will have supervisory responsibility for field service staff in Connecticut, Western Massachusetts, Eastern New York State and Rhode Island. Also, Chris Blessing has been promoted to field service technician for New London and New Haven counties and parts of Fairfield County. And Ken Pfeiffer has been added as a service technician in Hartford and its surrounding counties. Founded in 1972, Jamestown Technologies specializes in the evaluation, design, installation and maintenance of the full range of water treatment programs for cooling and boiler water equipment for commercial, institutional, industrial and power generation operations.
