Beverly Annello has rejoined Murtha Cullina LLP as director of human resources. She will be based in the law firm’s Hartford office, but will divide her time among the three other offices in Connecticut and two in Massachusetts. For the past eight years, she was head of U.S. human resources for an international law firm. Her career spans other industries as well including manufacturing and software engineering companies.

Chernoff Diamond & Co. LLC has named Garry Straker a principal partner, following the merger of his benefits, compensation and human resources business, PSL Consulting, into Chernoff Diamond. With offices in Glastonbury, Straker joins Chernoff Diamond’s compensation and human resources practice. Straker founded PSL Consulting in 2002, following a career in corporate advertising at Southern New England Telecommunications Corp. Straker lived and worked in London for 10 years, representing American brands for an international marketing communications consulting firm. Earlier, he worked in theatre production as a stage manager in regional theatres throughout the United States. Chernoff Diamond is a Garden City, Long Island-based benefits and risk management consultant.

Paula Siebers has joined TD Bank as merchant service representative in Glastonbury. As an assistant vice president, she is responsible for working with business partners and TD Bank retail stores to generate merchant services sales, including credit and debit cards, gift cards, electronic checks and EBT, throughout Connecticut. She has worked as a small business specialist at Bank of America in Avon and a national sales executive at First Data Merchant Services.

Jane Von Holzhausen has been appointed sales manager at the Avon office of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Connecticut and Westchester County, N.Y. She will be responsible for the oversight of 50 sales professionals serving Avon, Bristol, Canton East Granby, Farmington, Litchfield, Torrington and the surrounding communities. Von Holzhausen has served as a sales agent, office manager and regional vice president. Active in numerous community and professional organizations, von Holzhausen was a founding director of The Simsbury Bank & Trust Co. and served on the bank’s board of directors for 13 years. She also served on the boards of the Simsbury Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Hartford Association of Realtors, and Gifts of Love, a nonprofit agency that provides food, clothing, furniture and household items to people in Greater Hartford. In addition, von Holzhausen is a former president of the local MLS and served as treasurer of the Greater Hartford Association of Realtors. She has also served on the Connecticut Association of Realtors board of directors.

Kassim has experience in municipal and K-12/educational projects at several architecture firms in Connecticut.
