Allison Lantieri has joined Ovation Benefits as marketing director. Consulting Engineering Services in Middletown has named Scott Conover as a full-time business development manager. For the past two years, he has served as the business development manager at RH White Construction, one of the largest contractors in construction specializing in utilities around New England. Previously, he had been director of client relations for PinnacleOne (now Arcadis).

Sarah Neighbours has been appointed sales manager of the West Hartford office of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Connecticut and Westchester County, N.Y. She will be responsible for the oversight of 60 sales professionals serving West Hartford, Bloomfield, Hartford, the Farmington Valley and the surrounding communities in Greater Hartford. Prior to her new role, Neighbours was an award-winning sales associate in the Simsbury office of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.

Four physicians have joined the medical staff of St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center. Leo Otake, a plastic and reconstructive surgeon, becomes a practicing member of the St. Francis Medical Group. He received his medical degree cum laude from the Yale University School of Medicine and a doctorate in cell biology from the Yale Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. He served as a resident in surgery and a resident and chief resident in plastic surgery at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Most recently, he served as an attending plastic surgeon at Yale-New Haven Hospital and holds an appointment as an assistant clinical professor in the section of plastic surgery at the Yale School of Medicine. Ron Margolis, an ophthalmologist, is practicing as a member of Retina Consultants, P.C. He received his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College, New York; served as an intern in internal medicine at St. Vincent’s Hospital, New York; a chief resident in ophthalmology at the Cole Eye Institute of the Cleveland Clinic; and a vitreoretinal fellow at the Harkness Eye Institute of Columbia University and at the Manhattan Eye and Throat Hospital, New York. Dr. Margolis specializes in the treatment of all medical and surgical retinal disease. He is the author or co-author of more than 20 papers published in peer-reviewed professional journals and the author of six medical textbook chapters. Swathanthra Kumar Melekote, a pediatrician, is practicing as a member of Manchester Pediatric Associates. Dr. Melekote received his medical degree from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College at Karnatak University, Belgaum, India. In India, he served as a resident in pediatrics at Bangalore Medical College. He also served as a senior house officer in pediatrics at Crawley General Hospital, Crawley, U.K.; a senior house officer in neonatal-perinatal medicine at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, Norfolk, U.K.; and a staff officer in neonatal-perinatal medicine at North Manchester General Hospital, Central Manchester; and Manchester Children’s University Hospitals, Manchester, U.K. Dr. Melekote also served as a chief resident in pediatrics at New York Methodist Hospital, Brooklyn, and an assistant professor of pediatrics at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine/John Dempsey Hospital. And Robert E. Kennon, an orthopedic surgeon, is practicing at Orthopaedics New England, P.C. He received his medical degree from the Emory University School of Medicine, Atlanta. He served as an intern in general surgery at Yale-New Haven Hospital and as a resident in orthopaedic surgery in the Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation at the Yale University School of Medicine/Yale-New Haven Hospital. He served as a fellow in adult hip and knee reconstruction at Waterbury Hospital and The Keggi Orthopaedic Foundation. He also holds a degree in mechanical engineering. He is the author or co-author of 15 papers published in professional journals, and in 2008, authored a popular book on hip and joint surgery.

Mashantucket Pequot Gaming Enterprises has promoted Jason Guyot to vice president of hotel operations for MGM Grand at Foxwoods and Christopher O’Connell to vice president of hotel operations for Foxwoods Resort Casino. Guyot most recently served as executive director of hotel operations and shared services for MGM Grand at Foxwoods. He joined the organization in 2003 as manager of Indian preference and diversity. O’Connell most recently served as Foxwoods’ executive director of hotel operations. He joined Foxwoods Resort Casino in 1993 as restaurant shift supervisor.
