NewAlliance Bank has appointed Mark Gibson as executive vice president and chief marketing officer. Gibson will be responsible for NewAlliance’s marketing disciplines including branding, advertising, public relations and merchandising. He will also oversee community development, product management, and online business. Gibson joins NewAlliance after a 13-year tenure with Compass Bank, where he most recently served as executive vice president and chief marketing officer.

Roger Saleeby has joined Diversified Project Management as its vice president of operations and will oversee the firm’s Hartford and Stamford offices. Prior to joining the company, Roger was vice president of construction for Emigrant Bank in New York, N.Y., where his responsibilities included real estate planning and construction project management for bank-owned corporate offices, retail branches and affiliated investment institutions.

George A. Nurisso has joined Rockville Bank as its vice president, commercial real estate credit officer. Nurisso is responsible for underwriting complex commercial real estate loans. He will assist in the management and monitoring of the bank’s commercial real estate and construction loan portfolios. Nurisso joined Rockville Bank in May 2008. He has more than 25 years of banking experience and most recently held the position of vice president, senior real estate underwriter at Bank of America in Hartford.

Jeffry Wolansky has joined OMNI Medical Billing Plus in Wallingford as a client development associate. OMNI provides financial support services to the health care industry, which includes billing, collections, accounting and consulting. Wolansky will be creating and implementing OMNI’s sales plan and generating new business for its medical practices division. He joins OMNI from Allscripts, where he most recently served as a national account manager.

The Robert H. Lord Co. has announced that James Roy has been appointed regional sales representative for Massachusetts and Connecticut. Prior to joining the company, Roy was a commercial banker/business development officer with Rockville Bank in South Windsor.

Bruce Ditman, who currently handles marketing for the firm’s New England practice, has been named national marketing director for UHY Advisors Inc. Ditman will provide direction and oversight of the marketing efforts of the firm’s national practice.

Mintz & Hoke Communications Group has named Roy Donnelly as the technical lead in its interactive division. In this new position, Donnelly will manage the digital development team in the creation of Web sites, digital media projects and other interactive communications. Prior to joining Mintz & Hoke, Donnelly spent three years as lead developer with United Health Group in Hartford.

MidState Medical Center announced that Cindy Russo, vice president of patient care, has been appointed to the American Organization of Nurse Executives Regulatory Monitoring Committee. As part of this committee, Russo will review and recommend responses to regulatory issues, documents, and proposals, particularly from the Joint Commission, the National Council of State Boards of Nursing, and CMS Conditions of Participation. She will also assist with coordination between the CMS Task Force and Professional Practice Committee.

Barnum Financial Group announced that Charles Perrault has joined the firm as a financial services representative. He will work out of the firm’s Wethersfield office. He holds a Series 66 and 7 securities registrations as well as a life and health license to sell insurance to his clients. Prior to joining BFG, Perrault worked for Thrivent Financial for Lutherans and Romano & Associates.

Sheila Amaral has joined TD Banknorth as manager of its branch located at 655 West Main St. in New Britain. She is responsible for managing the branch’s day-to-day operations as well as developing and overseeing small business loans, deposit accounts, consumer lending, investment and insurance services provided to its New Britain and Farmington area customers. Amaral has 20 years in banking. Prior to joining TD Banknorth, she served as a financial service manager at Citibank NA.
