Watkinson School of Hartford announced that David Klein of Hartford has been elected president of Watkinson’s Board of Trustees. Klein has served as treasurer of the board for the past six years. Klein retired from the Hartford Financial Service Group in 2000 after a career that spanned nearly 26 years.
Webster Bank, a subsidiary of Webster Financial Corp., announced the appointment of David M. Stachurski as senior vice president, portfolio and decision management director — consumer finance. Stachurski has more than 19 years of hands-on analytics & statistical modeling experience, including nine years managing analytics teams, in the financial services and consulting industries. He most recently worked for CitiMortgage in Stamford, from 2006 to 2009 as director of home equity pricing, where he set pricing and built pricing optimization engines for home equity products in direct-to-consumer, e-commerce and third party origination channels.
Farmington Savings Bank has announced the addition of five people to its senior management team: Michael T. Schweighoffer, executive vice president and chief risk officer; David Blitz, senior vice president and manager of commercial banking; Ilene A. Malina, senior vice president and chief marketing officer; Ted May, senior vice president of the bank’s new government banking department; and Stacey Uccello, vice president of the bank’s new cash management services. Schweighoffer brings more than 25 years of experience in state banking to his new position. He previously served as Connecticut president and senior loan officer for TD Bank. Blitz comes to Farmington Savings Bank from TD Bank, where he served most recently as commercial division manager. Malina comes to Farmington Savings Bank from The Hartford where she most recently served as director, strategic marketing and customer insight for Hartford Life eBusiness. May comes from TD Bank where he was responsible for government banking operations from Maine to New Jersey. Uccello comes from TD Bank where she was responsible for the management of cash services for the entire state of Connecticut.
Harriet J. Dobin of Bloomfield has joined the Mandell Jewish Community Center in West Hartford as director of marketing and the Hartford Jewish Film Festival, announced David Jacobs, executive director. She will oversee the Mandell JCC’s marketing communications, advertising and public relations department, as well as direct the popular Hartford Jewish Film Festival, an annual cultural arts program now in its 14th year. Most recently, Dobin was president of Over The Top Marketing, LLC, whose clients included the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford, the Hartford Jewish Film Festival, Camp Laurelwood, United Jewish Communities, Hartford Stage Co. and Yale Repertory Company, among others.
