Eversource Energy has named a new chief financial officer following the retirement of Phil Lembo, 66, who held the position since May 2016.
The company’s senior vice president and treasurer, John Moreira, became CFO effective earlier this month.
Lembo will continue to work for Everosurce until later this year as a non-executive senior strategic adviser focusing on options for Eversource’s offshore wind investments, which the company is reviewing for a possible sale.
Moreira, a 22-year veteran of Eversource and its predecessors, was promoted to senior vice president – finance and regulatory, and treasurer, in 2018.
