Moody’s Investors Service said it has withdrawn its debt ratings for The Phoenix Cos. because the Hartford insurer hasn’t filed financial statements since the second quarter of 2012.
Phoenix has been working to restate its financials for 2009, 2010, and 2011, as well as quarterly statements for 2011 and the first half of 2012.
Moody’s withdrew its ratings of the company’s senior unsecured debt, as well as the financial strength ratings of its life insurance and annuities businesses.
