A retail property at 495 Monroe Turnpike in Monroe, home to a NAPA Auto Parts store and a Webster Bank branch, has sold for $2.06 million, according to town land records.
Thomas McCarthy, of Bonita Springs, Florida, has bought the one-story, 11,046-square-foot structure from M & JD Real Estate, which is doing business as 495 Monroe Tpke LLC and is controlled by Stratford-based developer DeMattia Cos. Inc., state records show.
An email to McCarthy, who is doing business as ureka3 LLC, was not immediately returned.
The building, which was constructed on 1 acre in 1973, was appraised at $1.52 million and assessed at $1.06 million in 2024, according to property records. It was appraised at $1.35 million and assessed at $943,000 from 2021 to 2023.
