Monroe firm signs deal to expand reach of urinary health device

Elidah Inc., a Monroe-based medical device firm, announced a deal this week that will allow the company to market its product to a much wider audience.

Elidah is partnering with VGM & Associates to offer its ELITONE device for stress urinary incontinence. VGM, a major healthcare member service organization, serves a network of providers with more than 7,000 U.S. locations.

Through the deal, Elidah said it had expanded its reach to 1 in 3 women who suffer from pelvic floor dysfunction with urinary incontinence.

Elidah CEO Gloria Kolb said, “We are very privileged to partner with VGM & Associates as their reach and focus will enable us to expand our voice and help more women through their prescribers.”

Largely funded by the National Science Foundation, Elidah markets the ELITONE device and is developing future devices to treat female pelvic pain and male incontinence, according to a company statement.
