Mohegan Sun said its June slot-machine win was up 3 percent over the year — the Uncasville casino’s third such increase of 2015.
Mohegan’s slot win totaled $46.7 million, up from $45.3 million in June 2014. Bettors wagered $580.1 million on the casino’s slots during the month, up from $574.9 million a year prior.
Mohegan will pay the state $11.7 million in taxes for the month.
For the state fiscal year ended June 30, Mohegan paid a total of $146.7 million in slot taxes. That was down from $148.3 million in fiscal year 2014.
