The Mohegan Sun Casino is reporting its slot machine profits were down slightly in April, compared with the same period last year and with March of this year.
The casino’s win of more than $64 million is down from the $70.1 million reported to the state Division of special revenues for the same period last year. It’s also down from the nearly $66 million reported for March.
The biggest profit maker among slot machines offerings are the penny slots, which brought in almost $26 million in April.
The casinos turn over 25 percent of their slot wins to the state, meaning Mohegan Sun paid more than $16 million. (AP)
