Mohegan Sun posted a slight dip in slot revenues last month.
In August, Mohegan tribal operators reported more than $53.3 million in slot revenues vs. $53.8 million in the year-ago period. That represents a less than 1 percent revenue fall from August 2017.
The amount slot bettors wagered in August, known as the “handle,” was over $635.5 million, down from $637.8 million a year ago.
The Uncasville casino contributed $13.3 million in gaming taxes to the state for the month.
