Mohegan Sun slot revenues dip in April

Mohegan Sun reported a slight dip in its April slot revenues.

For the month, Mohegan tribal operators reported slot revenue of more than $51.3 million, down from $52.9 million it recorded in April 2016.

The amount slot bettors wagered in April, known as the “handle,” was $625.8 million, a large drop from the $642.4 million wagered in the year-ago period, casino operators said.

The Uncasville casino contributed $12.8 million in gaming taxes to the state for the month.
