The Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority swung to a first-quarter profit, driven by higher revenue and a lack of early debt extinguishment costs.
Mohegan booked $14.8 million in profits for the quarter, up from a loss of $67.3 million in the first quarter a year prior.
Net revenue grew from $312.8 million to $316.7 million, fueled by gains in gaming and hotel revenues.
Operating expenses also fell for the quarter, from $279.6 million to $267 million.
