An Oakdale man has taken home New England’s highest progressive Pai Gow Poker payout to the tune of $2.07 million. He won the prize at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville.
The casino said in a news release the man, identified as Lauren Renaldi, was playing in the Casino of the Earth on Saturday when he won. According to the Mohegan Sun website, Pai Gow Poker is an American derivative of the Chinese domino game of Pai Gow. It uses playing cards instead of dominoes.
