Both Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods reported lower slots revenue for February.
Foxwoods’ slots revenue fell by $7.7 million, or nearly 20 percent, to $31.6 million, while Mohegan’s revenue fell 4.1 percent, or $1.8 million, to $42.1 million.
The amount bettors wagered on slots, called “the handle,” also fell at both casinos. Foxwoods’ handle fell from $479.3 million in Feb. 2014 to $382.9 million, while Mohegan’s handle fell from $525.8 million to $508.2 million.
The state will receive a total of $18.7 million for the month, down from $20.8 million a year ago.
