A 1.6-acre lot in Orange, home to a former mobile home park, will soon be the site of a two-story medical center.
Hamden-based Racebrook Medical Center LLC and principal Gary Richetelli purchased the property at 235 Boston Post Road for $1.35 million from Larsens Landings LLC in a deal recorded March 2022, according to town land records.
Larsens Landing had been owner of the property since 2005. There were a few individual mobile home owners located in the park, town officials said, and as of July 13, all site pads and mobile homes had been removed.
The property has an appraised value of just over $1 million, according to the town assessor’s office.
Town officials said the property is prime development land along the busy Boston Post Road, located next to retail stores, plazas and medical centers.
Gary Bellard of Orange-based Colonial Properties was the sole broker in the deal.
